Our Ministry

Everything we do is a fruit of our faith.  God sent his son Jesus to take away our sins and remove our guilt forever, so it's only natural that we serve him with thankful hearts.  Our ministry centers around the Word of God, the means that Holy Spirit uses to lead sinners to repentance and faith in Jesus for forgiveness, life, and salvation.  We strive to equip believers as disciples, stewards, witnesses, and servants, who are ready to share the gospel and live their faith.  To carry out this mission, Abiding Hope currently offers:

  • Weekly worship services (Learn more about worship at Abiding Hope here). [Cross link to worship page]

  • Children’s lessons during the worship service

  • Adult Bible study

  • Biblical counseling for marriage, family, or life issues

  • Regular Christian fellowship opportunities for the whole family

  • Special worship opportunities for Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and more

  • Ladies group

  • Adult choir

  • Bible Basics instruction

  • Vacation Bible school

  • Mornings with Mommy

Children’s ministry is an important part of church life at Abiding Hope.  Vacation Bible school and special events throughout the year give child an opportunity to have fun, work on crafts, sing songs, and most importantly, learn about their Savior Jesus.  A children’s lesson is also included as a regular part of our Sunday morning worship service.  We are continuing to work hard on strengthening and expanding our children’s ministry.  Click on the button below to learn about our Mornings with Mommy program.

As we seek to give the Word of God first place in our faith and life as Christians, adult Bible study is also a big part of our ministry at Abiding Hope.  Our Sunday morning classes address a wide variety of topics from Holy Scripture throughout the year.  Our Bible Basics class is a small group study held during the week that is well suited for anyone—whether you’re new to the Christian faith, looking to review what you have already learned, or somewhere in between.
